Please RSVP as soon as possible.  ALL RSVPs are important.  It is possible for a race to fill up before we know we have enough people to go, so early RSVPs are essential. Please RSVP:

• Yes if you know right now that you will be going. We will see you on race day!
• No if you are sure you are not able to come. Please list a reason, if possible.  A No RSVP helps keep the coach from spending time calling to recruit folks who have other obligations on race day.
• Maybe if you still need time to think about it.  Please comment what is behind the Maybe so organizers can keep an eye on your likelihood to attend.

Dates - Race Days are October 16 - 19.  Training day will likely be October 15.  Be prepared to fly as early as October 14 (depending on our training time).  Plan to fly out October 20, as it is difficult to predict how late racing will run July 6.

Cost - Race costs in 2023 were about $900 per person, which included lodging, race fees, rental cars, tent rentals, and miscellaneous expenses such as parking and baggage fees. Air costs were not included.  Because of the elevated costs for this race, RSVPs will require a $100 deposit to help offset the cost of making travel arrangements.  This is non-refundable, unless you are not selected for the crews.  You should expect another billing over the summer, and a final billing after we have returned.

Something different for the women - We are working on entering a crew for All Cancer Paddlers (ACP).  Eligible crew members will be women survivors of any cancer, from anywhere in the club.  ACP crew members can also race in the women's divisions, so it is possible to be on both the ACP crew and one of Roula's crews.  Choose tickets for both ACP and Competitive Women if you are interested in both.
