Please RSVP as soon as possible. ALL RSVPs are important. It is possible for a race to fill up before we know we have enough people to go, so early RSVPs are essential. Please RSVP:
- Yes if you know right now that you will be going. We will see you on race day!
- No if you are sure you are not able to come. Please list a reason, if possible. A No RSVP helps keep the coach from spending time calling to recruit folks who have other obligations on race day.
- Maybe if you still need time to think about it. Please comment what is behind the Maybe so organizers can keep an eye on your likelihood to attend.
Dates - Race Days are July 4 through 6. Training days are July 1 through 3. Be prepared to fly as early as June 30 (depending on our training time). Plan to fly out July 7 or very late July 6, as it is difficult to predict how late racing will run July 6.
Cost - We have no historical basis for estimating costs for this race. Last year's CanAms were the most expensive race we've ever attended, and the cost was about $1200 per person. Due to the elevated costs of this race, RSVP will require a $100 deposit. This will help with deposits on pre-arrangements for things like lodging. It is non-refundable, unless you are not selected for the crews. You should expect a billing for balances of costs in late spring, and again after we return.
