SUP Stretch

"SUP Stretch" is a 40 minute yoga inspired session held on a stand-up paddle board (SUP) on open water and is focused on the core to help you with balance and become a better SUP paddler. This session is memebr lead for paid memebers only.
This class requires you to be a SUP paddler and be able to self-recover after falling off a board without assistance. Please contact Koichi Kitazumi at 206.856.0571 (text/call) if you have any questions about this requirment. Also please be comfortable in all conditions, rain or shine, smooth or bumpy water, to participate.
Typical session
- 9:00 - push off
- meditation
- core stretch
- core workout - 5 - 7 minute intense crunch, hollow body, planking, leg lifts
- hands, arms, feet, leg stretch if there is time
- closing meditation (Shavasana )
The start time stated is the push off time. Please arrive early to set up your board, paddle, PFD and anchor.
