Join us for our annual paddle out to meet the Christmas Ships.  This year, weather permitting, we will meet them for their performance at Mount Baker Beach.  Dress for the weather, bring your holiday cheer and food and/or beverages to share while we enjoy the performance. Friends and family are welcome, subject to club rules regarding age, supervision, and minimum/maximum numbers. Have them sign up and sign the waiver here.

Here is a schedule, subject to change and adjustment if steerspeople feel more or less time is needed to get there in time:

430pm - parties at South Leschi and Lakewood to decorate and light the crafts (see separate sign-up)
630pm - meet for benching
645pm - board and paddle to Baker Beach
7pm - Argosy departs Leschi
735-755pm - enjoy the performance at Baker Beach
8pm - paddle home
830pm - land and remove decorations on the boats
9pm - event end

In past years, we have tried to coordinate a group dinner as well, but this year, we will leave that to the various groups of people to organize amongst themselves as they choose.  BluWater charges a fee to reserve for a large group, and it's hard to find a place that is central to both crews.
