"SUP Stretch" is a 40 minute yoga inspired session held on a stand-up paddle board (SUP) on open water. This week will be guest starring a substitute instructor or two while Koichi is away.  

This class requires you to be a SUP paddler and be able to self-recover after falling off a board without assistance.  Also please be comfortable in all conditions, rain or shine, smooth or bumpy water, to participate.

Typical session (very subject to change!):

  • Arrive early to get your paddle, prep you stuff, and get on your board.
  • 9:00 - push off
  • meditation
  • core stretch
  • core workout - 5 - 7 minute intense crunch, hollow body, planking, leg lifts 
  • hands, arms, feet, leg stretch if there is time 
  • closing meditation (Shavasana)
  • Back to dock

The start time stated is the push off time.  Please arrive early to set up your board, paddle, PFD and anchor.
