SUP Stretch

"SUP Stretch" is a 40 minute yoga inspired session held on a stand-up paddle board (SUP) on open water. This week will be guest starring a substitute instructor or two while Koichi is away.
This class requires you to be a SUP paddler and be able to self-recover after falling off a board without assistance. Also please be comfortable in all conditions, rain or shine, smooth or bumpy water, to participate.
Typical session (very subject to change!):
- Arrive early to get your paddle, prep you stuff, and get on your board.
- 9:00 - push off
- meditation
- core stretch
- core workout - 5 - 7 minute intense crunch, hollow body, planking, leg lifts
- hands, arms, feet, leg stretch if there is time
- closing meditation (Shavasana)
- Back to dock
The start time stated is the push off time. Please arrive early to set up your board, paddle, PFD and anchor.
