Adopt-a-Street clean up

Event information

This event has passed.

Our club has officially adopted the street right outside our marina!  This is our opportunity to give back to the community that has hosted our club for many years.

This will be approximately a two-hour commitment that will take place after practice and SAKE Proud.  You will be required to sign a hardcopy waiver in order to participate.  Non-members are also invited to participate and are able to register for the event on the website.

These events will be spread throughout the year and will be open to all club members, as well as any family or friends who also want to help with our endeavor.  When we have started our second year in this effort we will get a sign posted on the street bearing our club name!

Supplies are provided by Seattle Public Utilities, but it is recommended that you wear long pants and long-sleeve shirts, as well as sturdy shoes–NO SANDALS!  Hats and sunscreen are also a good idea, and you should not wear headphones so that you can be aware of your surroundings. Please read the Seattle Public Utilities Volunteer Handbook.
